El Leñador
El Leñador is the student-run, bilingual English/Spanish newspaper serving the Latino community on campus and in Humboldt County. Founded by Cal Poly Humboldt journalism students in 2013, the monthly newspaper has since received numerous awards, including the best non-weekly student newspaper in the state by the California College Media Association. Through their reporting, student staff members create more social, political, and cultural diversity in local media. The staff works as writers, photographers, editors, copy translators, and page designers. Students do not need to be bilingual to participate.

KRFH 105.1 FM and KRFH.net: Humboldt's Student-Run Radio Station
KRFH is the student-run radio station of Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata, California, broadcasting on the airwaves at 105.1FM and online at KRFH.net. Student DJss keep the dream alive of a non-commercial, free-form radio station.
From 7 a.m. - 2 a.m. every day of the week, DJs are live in the booth pumping out music, newscasts, talk shows, live band performances, local sports coverage and so much more.
Cliff Berkowitz is the radio station's faculty adviser.
Osprey
Osprey is a feature magazine produced by students at Cal Poly Humboldt. The magazine has won top awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the California College Media Association for its investigations into an unsolved murder, the demise of Humboldt's football and the hazing inside Humboldt’s soccer team. Students work as editors, writers, designers and photographers, creating all content and publishing one issue each semester.

The Lumberjack
The Lumberjack is the student-run weekly newspaper at Cal Poly Humboldt, serving the campus and community since 1929. It has received numerous awards from the California Newspaper Publishers Association and the California College Media Association. Students gain experience while working as editors, writers, distributors, and in ad sales.
